Our educational philosophy

Precious Beginnings believes that each child learns and grows as an individual, and that God holds the teaching staff accountable to address those needs and abilities in a helpful, compassionate way. In order to address each student's learning process, it is important to provide activities that are developmentally appropriate within a caring and engaging setting. Our belief is that each child who comes across our path has a need to be introduced to the God who made them, and His only Son, Jesus Christ, who loves them deeply, and that this relationship will give purpose to their knowledge as they impact the world around them.

Our purpose

  1. To provide excellence in Christian education, including curriculum, teachers, equipment and facilities that prepare them intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually to meet the challenges ahead of them.
  2. To introduce children to Jesus in a warm, safe and secure environment where they can learn about Him as their Savior and learn to explore the world God has given them, and to model Christian values, behaviors and attitudes to both the children and their parents.
  3. To develop in children the belief that learning is satisfying and exciting as they participate in appropriate activities, and to continue their educational experience with the confidence and security that comes from knowing that God loves them.

Curriculum

The curriculum will be Christian in its focus and will provide a rich learning environment and developmentally appropriate activities. The educational program is thematic in nature and integrates language, pre-reading, math, science, music, movement, art, fine motor skills, and basic truths and stories from the Bible. Our staff will enhance the curriculum with their own special skills and creativity and use it to serve as a foundation for developing Christian attitudes of loving, helping and sharing.
