The purpose of Children's ministry is to glorify God (Isaiah 43:7; Romans 15:5-6). The goal is to be like Jesus (Romans 8:29; 1 Peter 2:21). Glorifying God occurs when people put His character or attributes on display, such as love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, justice, holiness and goodness. First, to glorify God we are committed to teaching the Word of God in order to change lives (Romans 10:17; 2 Timothy 3:14-15). Secondly, we are committed to promoting and encouraging an atmosphere of caring within every ministry.
Nursery
The Nursery Ministry provides a healthy, safe and loving place to care for children, birth through 4 years, during the church sponsored worship services. The Nursery Ministry exists to assist the parents of Christ Bible Church by providing organized childcare so that the parents can participate in the other ministries CBC has to offer.
Sunday School
Sunday school is an opportunity to challenge children (3 to 12 years) to learn the Bible. Consistent with the purpose stated previously, this ministry aims at glorifying God and in doing so, imitating the character of Jesus Christ. In these classes examples of godly character from the Bible are taught and crafts are utilized to reinforce the lesson.

Children's church
Children's Church, for children 5 years - 2nd grade, occurs during the preaching portion of the Sunday morning worship service. The purpose of this ministry is twofold: 1) to teach biblical truths contained in God's Word; 2) to introduce and develop the concept of worship through example and practice, so as to encourage a reverent response to God. The children are released just before the preaching portion of the worship service and led to the Fellowship Hall for their own lesson.
