Women's ministry
Our purpose is to become women of excellence in Christ (Ruth 3:11 & Proverbs 31:10). God has uniquely designed women for a role different than men. The underlying thread throughout all of the activities of CBC Women's Ministries recognizes this special role for women and seeks to honor God by coming alongside women to equip and encourage them as they seek to obey the Word of God in womanhood. Foundational Goals of the Women's Ministry of Christ Bible Church
The four primary goals of the ministry are as follows:
- Study and apply God's Word to our lives
- Understand God's uniquely designed role for women
- Enjoy fellowship with sisters in Christ from all generations
- Pray for and serve others in our church body and the community
Schedule and Study Topics
Women's Ministry meets from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month unless noted (*) otherwise. A light breakfast is served at the beginning of the gatherings. Opportunities are available through this ministry to serve others with the love of Christ Jesus by providing meals, care, and prayer. The book used for the Fall study is "A Woman After God's Own Heart" by Elizabeth George. Everyone is responsible for ordering their own books. Monthly study topics listed below:
